PSI sending units and sensors, oil and coolant lines, fuel fittings, rear
axle fill plug, brake and power steering fittings
|
OEM specified.
Formulated specifically for metal, tapered pipe thread fittings, High
Performance Thread Sealant replaces Teflon® tape and pipe dopes. Cures
rapidly to withstand 10,000 PSI. Perfect as a replacement for Vibra-Seal®
pre-coated parts. Prevents galling and protects mated threaded areas from
rust and corrosion. It is certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 61 for use in
potable water systems.
Suggested Applications:
Stainless steel fittings, head bolts into through holes, oil PSI sending
units/sensors, oil and coolant lines, intake manifold switches, rear axle
fill plug, fuel fittings
*
Contains
more Teflon particles for greater sealing power.
* Use on metal, PVC, CPVC, and ABS plastic pipe threads.
* For sealing water, air, steam, natural gas, LP gas, refrigerants,
ammonia, gasoline, and oil.
* Do not use on Oxygen service, use PTFE Tape or Oxytite® Paste.
* Washes off hands and clothing easily.
* Non-toxic, non-drying.* Sealing temperature range: -50°F to 500°F (-46°C
to 260°C).
* Working Pressures: 3,000 PSI (204 BAR ) for Gas, 10,000 PSI (680 BAR)
for liquids.* USDA approved for use in federally inspected meat and
poultry plants. |
Leak
Lock is a state-of-the-art high strength, pipe joint sealant
consisting of chemically resistant film formers, plasticers, reinforcing
fillers and solvents .
- A resin based brushable paste which remains
permanently flexible, adheres to internal surfaces and fills voids
- Ideal for metal and plastic materials subject to
extreme vibrations
- Effective in temperatures from -200°F (-93°C) to
400°F (204°C), full vacuums and pressures to 10,000 PSI
Leak Lock can be used on all metal or plastic materials,
including but not limited to, aluminum, aluminum alloys, cast irons,
copper, copper alloys, (brass, bronze, etc...), magnesium and magnesium
alloys, carbon steels, stainless steels, galvanized surfaces, PVC, CPVC,
ABS, fiberglass, black polypropylene, and kynar. Leak Lock should be
applied to threaded joints, flanged joints, gasket surfaces and all mating
surfaces where a fluid-tight seal is required.
Leak Lock seals a broad range of
chemicals including all refrigerants such as R-12, R-22, R-502, R-134A, etc., all CFC, HFC and
HCFC refrigerants, petroleum products, natural and manufactured gases,
steam, water, air, etc. No other sealant offers the application range of
Leak Lock. Use alcohol as a cleansing solvent prior to setting.

This is a strong, flexible, rubbery adhesive that can withstand vibration
and extreme temperature variations. It can be used to bond automotive
weatherstripping and is a great adhesive for holding paper, cork, or
rubber
gaskets in place during installation.

GASKET SEALANTS
/ GASKET MAKERS
Fast drying, hard-setting sealant designed for sealing rigid materials and
flanges, or patching holes and joints where permanent assembly is desired.
Temperature range -65°F to 400°F; resists common shop fluids and fuels.
Suggested Applications: Freeze plugs, threaded connections,
manifold gaskets
|
Slow drying,
non-hardening sealant designed for sealing cut gaskets and stamped parts.
Allows for easy disassembly if required. Temperature range -65°F to 400°F;
resists common shop fluids and fuels. Use where sealing is more important
than adhesion.
Suggested Applications: Valve
cover gaskets, oil pan gasket
