Seal-LokŪ Fittings
O-Ring Face Seal Tube
Fittings
Stainless steel Seal-Lok tube fittings, with
appropriate elastomeric seals, are ideal for reliable and leak-free gas
applications such as compressed natural gas systems. Seal-Lok is an O-ring
face seal type fitting that consists of a nut, a sleeve, an O-ring and the
fitting body. The flat sealing surface on the tube end is created by either
flanging or brazing on the appropriate sleeve. When the fitting is
assembled, this flat face compresses the O-ring into the precision groove to
form a leak tight seal.
- Can be assembled to a specified torque.
- Minimal turn of the nut for tightening.
- Unlimited remakeability (with replaceable
o-ring seal).
- Dimensions conform to SAE J1453 and ISO 8434-3.
- No tube entry - allows for drop-in assembly and
easy disassembly.
- Readily adapts to inch and metric tube or hose
connections.
- Pressure ratings in excess of 3,600 psi.
- 316 SS material for corrosion resistance.
- Wide variety of available configurations.
- Tested per AGA1 (Test Report No. 125-AGA1-85).

CPI & A-LOKŪ Tube Fittings
Ideal for uses
requiring instrument integrity connections in Natural Gas Systems. Parker
CPI and A-Lok precision tube fittings are suitable for
compressed natural gas as well as liquified natural gas applications.
Parker CPI fittings consist of three
components: A body, a ferrule, and a nut. Parker A-LOK fittings consist of
four components: A body, a front and rear ferrule, and a nut. Parker
straight fittings are machined from cold drawn barstock. The cold drawing
process ensures consistent dimensional tolerances, improved strength and
better surface finish. Shapes are machined from close-grained forgings.
The Parker CPI single ferrule design allows
the ferrule to bow during make-up. The bowing action creates an active
element that can expand and contract with temperature cycling and maintain a
leak-tight seal. The Parker A-LOK double ferrule design provides the same
sealing integrity as CPI where double ferrules are specified.
- Option for single ferrule (CPI) or double
ferrule (A-LOKŪ) design.
- Positive leak free seal even after repeated
assembly.
- Broad applications with a variety of sizes.
- Available in 316 stainless steel, brass, steel
and many high performance alloy metals to meet your needs.
- Both CPI & A-LOK meet the requirements of the
- Texas Railroad Commission.
- Tested per AGA 1ENGR. Report #106-AGAI-85
